In Database at a Glance, we look at the data to spot new trends in the growth and development of health markets. In Focus, we take an in-depth look at new and emerging areas of focus in health markets, starting with technology-enabled models. In Emerging Health Market Innovations, we track and highlight growing “clusters” of innovative models that may hold potential for diffusion.

Program Case Studies

CHMI Partners conduct in-depth studies of select innovative health programs in their countries. Case studies give readers a deeper look at the structures, activities, and impact of promising programs, outlining successes and challenges, exploring lessons learned, and providing the building blocks for replication. Health Market Studies

CHMI commissions thematic analysis of select topics to better understand the mechanisms that improve the functioning of health markets. Two studies—on drug retail stores and informal health providers —are underway. Additional topics will be determined in consultation with CHMI stakeholders. View information on health market studies.

Reported Results Initiative

CHMI has launched an initiative to collect, record and publicize health market innovations’ results in improving health and financial protection for the poor. Reported Results are measures of program performance across key dimensions including access, affordability, efficiency, and quality. View information on CHMI's Reported Results program.
