Marie Stopes International (MSI) is one of the few programs in Papua New Guinea specializing in sexual and reproductive healthcare. Local nurses and midwives deliver vital sexual and reproductive healthcare services. The program targets at-risk populations living in extreme poverty in most need of these health services. Centers are located in Port Moresby, Mount Hagen, Lae, Goroka, and Madang with these centers incorporating outreach services to rural communities. MSI is focused on building capacity and implementing long-acting and permanent solutions for sexual and reproductive health gaps in communities.
