SONG Investment Management Company and SONG Investment Company are firms based out of Mauritius, funded and owned by the Soros Economic Development Fund, Omidyar Network and Google. SONG Investment Advisors India Private Limited is the sole investment advisor to the SONG Investment Management Company. The overall aim of SONG Investment Advisors is to create a successful model to demonstrate that investing in SMEs (Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises) not only can achieve shareholder returns-hence catalyzing greater investment in the sector-but can also generate stakeholder returns, such as increasing economic opportunities and jobs for the masses in India.

SONG plans to target the SME space in India as an initial market, with potential expansion into other developing countries.
