Decrease in Cost

* Strong evidence exists that CBHI provides substantial financial protection by reducing the need to borrow money or sell assets to meet the medical expenses, especially for lower income groups. Total borrowing for surgeries is 30% less and the payments made out of savings, incomes, and other sources are up to 74% less for program enrollees.
