The program has been able to achieve a 60% decrease in re-hospitalization.
In a study with a group of 123 families that were released from the Project in 2010, there was a decrease in days of hospitalization from the year before the family entered the Project to the year 2010 amounting to 1514 days, at a savings of US$ 946,250.00. The hospital typically expends aproximately US $625 per patient per day of hospitalization.
