Summary: 

“Sampurna Suraksha Card” is an innovative initiative of the Alka Hospital and Sonography Clinic to provide all aspects of family planning, antenatal care (e.g. regular or emergency indefinite visits, ultrasound examinations, indoor management, fetal monitoring), delivery (normal or complicated, high risk or low risk vaginal deliveries and caesarian section), surgery, and postnatal management to expectant mothers and newborns of up to 1 month.

Key program components: 

Costing just 1500 Rs (USD 30), the card provides access to all pre and post-natal services, including unlimited ultrasound examinations.

The card was designed to: 1. Ensure the regular reception of antenatal care and institutional delivery for expectant mothers 2. Alleviate the mental and economical stress associated with hospital expenditures
3. Ensure the provision of regular, complete, high-tech and safe care at a fixed low cost covering both antenatal and postnatal services
