CAPDAN is a computer sales trade group providing health insurance to its members in association with HMO Hygeia.

Key program components: 

Policyholders must be members of CAPDAN to enroll themselves and their families in the health insurance scheme. At the time of enrollment, policyholders choose a hospital, but they can use of any Hygeia hospitals in case of emergency. The policy covers consultations, treatment, medicines, immunizations, and medical check ups. The premium (US$8.55 (N1,300) per year) is subsidized by the World Bank and PharmAccess (as of 2010).
