The Clinica Cidadã- Instituto de Medicina Especializada (IME – Institute of Specialized Medicine) was founded on March 14, 2001 by Dr Jussara Mendes Lopes Matsuda.

Key program components: 

Clinica Cidadã freely and with its own resources, invests time, talent and material resources in order to promote and implement systematic activities to support social development of its population.

The philosophy is to offer good quality services at accessible prices. Visits cost R$60,00 ($36.40) for any specialty. The clinic offers doctors of different specializations for the city of Uberlandia and other small municipalities in the southern part of the state of Minas Gerais. IME has 2 units, all specialties and over 40 doctors.
