It is committed to the following:

  1. Using information through its project Eyeway.org to inform, inspire and include persons with vision impairments and their families.
  2. Empowering professionals and organizations working in the field and facilitating and nurturing the process of realizing the potential of persons with vision impairments. The effort is to make Eyeway.org a one-stop information center on eye disease.
  3. Being involved in ongoing research to constantly keep in touch with the information and support needs of the various target groups and ensure the relevance and utility of its services.
  4. Campaigning for persons with vision impairments and advocating for their inclusion in society.

The vision of Eyeway is to ensure that people with visual impairment attain full fledged member status in their community, family and society. In addition to the online resource center, Eyeway organizes training programs and workshops across the country and hosts a weekly radio show. Launched in November 2005, Eyeway Yeh Hai Roshni Ka Karawan is a 15-minute program that features an interview or advice section, a profile of a blind role model, a competition and a variety of other useful and interesting information.
