Pioneer Assurance has partnered with faith-based hospitals countrywide to provide health care services for insured members. Benefits include outpatient coverage, limited inpatient coverage, life insurance, funeral insurance, and wedding costs of the primary member.

Key program components: 

The Faulu product provides coverage to all members and their families. It is financed through credit, savings, or cash and can be paid weekly to yearly. Benefits include coverage up to US$10,869 (1,000,000 shillings), US$5,435 (500,000 shillings), or US$2,174 (200,000 shillings) depending on the plan. The scheme also includes unlimited access to outpatient care, limited inpatient services based on the option chosen at registration, life insurance, and funeral benefits. Wedding costs are also covered for the primary member (as of 2011).
