Summary:

G.V. Meditech is a provider of high quality and affordable healthcare to patients in Uttar Pradesh and the surrounding areas. The company, which is based in Varanasi, has begun expansion into semi-urban and rural areas through the establishment of 25-55 bed secondary hospitals. These hospitals provide medical, diagnostic and pharmaceutical services to patients who otherwise would need to travel several hours, and incur significant cost, for a similar level of care.

Key program components:

GV Meditech Ltd. operates a chain of secondary level hospitals that serve people in Uttar Pradesh, Western Bihar, parts of Jharkhand, and parts of Nepal.

There are three main healthcare facilities operated by GV Meditech: the Apollo Clinic, GV Meditech Hospital, and Surya Meditech Hospital.

The Apollo Clinic-Varanasi offers a complete range of world-class healthcare services including specialist consultations, diagnostics, preventive health checks, dental clinic, In-vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Apollo pharmacy - all under one-roof.

G. V. Meditech Hospital is specially designed to cater to trauma cases. The beds are equipped with central oxygen connections, monitors and ventilators thus making any bed convertible to an ICU as and when required. The hospital is supported by a team of 66 eminent consultants of different specialties. It provides outpatient consultation, diagnostic, operation theater, trauma operation theater, I.C.U., physiotherapy center, dialysis, and pharmacy services, as well as preventive health check packages. Some of the other main facilities available are two Dialysis Machines, 24 Hrs Ambulance facilities, and a 24 Hrs open pharmacy.

Surya Meditech Hospital and research center is one of the pioneer infertility and IVF (In vitro fertilization) centers in eastern Uttar Pradesh. This center is also equipped to manage High Risk Pregnancies.

There have been more than 110 free health camps organized over the last decade by GV Meditech. In addition, ambulance services to remote villages, training for the local people to act as health attendants, and micro-clinics in the rural villages have also been established during this time.
