Key program components
Our material makes the latest developments in child, perinatal and HIV care accessible to healthcare professionals working in challenging circumstances. We believe quality, affordable and up-to-date healthcare is possible in every facility, regardless of its history, resources or geographical location.
Bettercare works in close partnership with the Perinatal Education Trust (PET), a registered non-for-profit healthcare organization that developed the Perinatal Education Programme (PEP) to produce course books of outstanding quality at low cost. In the past 20 years, the Perinatal Education Programme has trained over 20 000 nurses and midwives. Their courses have been proven to improve patient care and practitioner knowledge, skills and job satisfaction.
