Summary: 

MMS-HIS includes non-clinical and clinical information functions and features that support CDSS and the CDSS capacity in the form of drug interaction. The features include Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE), and e-prescription.

Key program components: 

Since 2009, MMS-Hospital Information System (HIS) has been gradually adopted by various hospitals in Indonesia including Tabanan Hospital and Indera Hospital, public hospitals in Bali. The adoption of a sound clinical information system and clinical decision support software in hospitals in Indonesia are still limited especially in public hospitals, where resources are much more scarce. MMS-HIS has been made available by Mitrais in two public hospitals in Bali with affordable prices and the adoption is currently on-going and progressing to adopt a clinical decision support mechanism in the form of drug interaction in the future.

Mitrais is an information technology (IT) company located in Bali, Bandung and Jakarta. The company is one of leading providers of customer software development both in Indonesia and internationally. In 2006, it entered the market for medical software industry and constructed Mitrais Medical Suite (MMS), a comprehensive patient-centered system.
