ServiPeru was founded as a mutual insurance company in August of 1966. It is now a central service cooperative whose mission is to provide its members and the community with quality services.

Key program components:

ServiPeru provides services in the following areas:

  • Health service delivery: ServiPeru runs two clinics in Jesus Maria and Los Olivos, providing ambulatory consultations, as well as minor surgeries, hospitalization and clinical analysis.
  • Micro-insurance: ServiPeru offers ServiSalud, a micro health insurance that provides coverage for illness, accidents, and funeral services. Individuals and families under 65 years of age are able to enroll. Although there are no age limits in terms of the extent of benefits, hospitalization coverage ends at 70. Individual plans can be purchased for S/ 3.50 to S/ 9.00 per month (USD 1.25 to 4.28), while family plans run from S/22.00 to S/60.00 per month (USD 7.75 - 21). -Insurance advisors and brokers
