Summary: 

SKDRDP Trust offers a voluntary insurance product covering comprehensive health services, maternity benefits, death, and property damage with underwriting by National Insurance Company.

Key program components: 

SKDRDP Trust's insurance offers a sum insured of US$111 per person per annum for comprenesive health services including materniy and a death allowance. Key exclusions include pre- and post-hospitalization costs in addition to standard exclusions. SKDRDP Trust uses a cashless claims model.

The premium is US$4.49 (Rs. 220) for the policyholder and then US$3.22 (Rs. 145) per each additional family member (as of 2008).
