Program goals/rationale: 

This program aimed to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS and encourage the use of counseling and testing through interactive text messages in form of multiple choice questions.

Key program components: 

When answered correctly, participants obtain free access to HIV counseling and testing services and at the same time qualify for a price draw. The programs was piloted in 2008 with a follow-up project in 2009.
