Summary:

TeleSehat is aiming to provide quality healthcare services to small cities, towns and ultimately to rural areas in Pakistan with the help of its advanced telemedicine systems that connect existing clinics to an added patient base via technology without expanding infrastructure.

Program goals/rationale:

The objective of the company is to overcome the Rural-Urban healthcare divide and facilitate the rural population with access to quality healthcare facilities. At the same time it enables healthcare practitioners and service providers to enhance their practice base without incurring large investments.

Key program components:

The service provides real time, remote clinical consultation, examination, diagnosis and treatment, which eliminates the need for patient or doctor to travel. It also has a synchronized, centrally-connected clinic management system with patient records, which makes the service unified, interoperable and accessible from everywhere.

The organization offers a spectrum of services that include establishing a pool for specialist doctors in large cities that service patient centers in small cities/towns and rural areas. TeleSehat is also assisting large hospitals in the cities to establish telemedicine cabins in their buildings and increasing health care accessibility for the poor. In addition to providing 24/7 access to healthcare practitioners, TeleSehat also trains healthcare workers/staff members.
