Prabal V Singh is focused on health financing. He has done his doctorate programme from Indian Institute of Management, Ahemdabad, through the Fellow Programme in Management in Public Systems. His thesis looked into the implication of the provider payment system used in the Chiranjeevi initiative of the Govt. of Gujarat on health service delivery outcomes. Chiranjeevi scheme provides for free delivery services to women living below poverty line and also those belonging to the scheduled tribes through empaneled private practitioners. He has more than six years of experience in working in the public health sector, both public and private. He has also worked on the National e-Governance Plan of Govternment of India. He has published in refereed International Journals as well.
