Prior to joining Access Health International, he worked as a consultant for five years at Aravind Eye Care System, Madurai. He was responsible for implementing the “Aravind Model” which is known for its high volume, high quality and low cost health care service delivery to other parts of the country. He worked in Uttar Pradesh for 2 years and was instrumental in starting and running the hospitals from the ground. He has also visited African countries which have dire need for health care for capacity building. He has done exclusive market analysis in Rajasthan & Maharashtra for starting eye hospitals and prepared business proposals. Has wide experience in teaching health care professionals on modules like patient care management and management system development.
