Vijay Kumar Reddy is focused on government contracting; implementation of public private partnerships. He has a vast experience in the health care sector in India. A doctor from Indian systems of medicine he pursued Masters in Business Management in Finance and M Phil in Hospital and Health Systems Management from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He held various managerial positions in reputed corporate hospitals for more than 10 years. He was part of EMRI core group since its inception. He was involved in the project conceptualization, implementation and nationwide expansion of 108 Emergency Response Services. He played a key role in designing the state of art ambulance model suitable for urban and rural population. He has been associated with Max Healthcare Institute, reputed healthcare provider in India. He has been consultant for designing and developing public private partnership models in Emergency Response Systems, & Hospitals.
He is interested in studying various existing models in India in health, developed in public private partnerships which are scalable and can help in improving healthcare delivery in India and provide technical expertise in developing similar models.
