The Global Impact Investing Network partnered with CHMI to develop a digital tool to help investors articulate their impact strategies, and select metrics that matter to measure success for their investments to demonstrate how well they deliver affordably priced, quality services to the poor.

The CHMI team traveled to Bangalore, India, in June for the Innovations for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Conclave event hosted by partners from India, Kenya, the UK and the US. We partnered with Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), designed and facilitated an Innovator’s Deep Dive workshop where innovators shared their challenges, expertise, and develop new solutions. CHMI has been facilitating peer learning and adaptation among innovators in the health market since 2013.

Over the past seven years, CHMI has been a resource for innovators and program stakeholders around the globe looking for evidence and knowledge on emerging health innovations. We have continued to document the universe of health innovations and disseminate new evidence about what works in the health innovation space.
The CHMI team reflected on our achievements for 2017, including: an internal programmatic review, a refined strategy, and initiatives that leverage our value proposition to increase our impact. We continued to be a global resource of knowledge and evidence on emerging and relevant health innovations. Our hard work led the Department for International Development (DFID) and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) to see value in our vision for the future and will continue to financially support CHMI.
