“With this award, we stand a chance to increase the impact to mothers and children in Toto Health. We’re definitely looking forward exchanging best practices with our peers.”
Toto Health of Kenya, PACE of Uganda, Purple Source and Mobicare of Nigeria are the four organizations whose innovations have won the Learn and Launch grant under the Center for Health Market Innovations.
These four organizations will look to adapt the primary care health model of Jacaranda health which has been chosen to offer a mentorship platform to the four grantees. Africa Capacity Alliance will provide an enabling platform for the adaptation process between these four organizations and Jacaranda Health
Felix Kimaru the co-founder and CEO of Toto Health had this to share:-
“Learn and Launch is really exciting for us as Toto Health! For a long time, it has been us reviewing our own work. This has been good but it is definitely better when you have an external eye review what you do.
This time, it will be different because our peers will be part of the review process. We will have an external eye to the review and this will raise insights that we had not thought about or seen before. It will be a good and enriching experience. This will go a long way to improving our program.
We are excited about improving what we do based on the external review by our peers. With this award, we stand a chance to increase the impact to mothers and children in Toto health. We’re definitely looking forward to the process.”
