Swasti is a registered not-for-profit and to advance health and well being by:
* Mobilizing communities to better address healthcare priorities;
* Improving the effectiveness and efficiencies of organizations in the health sector;
* Combining sector knowledge with gender, equity, vulnerability, anti-poverty perspectives and management skills.

Swasti is part of the Catalyst Group of institutions that has been working in the development sector for over 19 years. This group, in addition to Swasti, comprises of Catalyst Management Services, a professional services company; Vrutti, a livelihoods resource centre and Fuzhio, a health foods and business services organization.
