Key program components
Lack of structured school health program is leading to increased prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) among school children in India. Ameya Life is offering a comprehensive school health screening and referral program consisting of:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, hearing, speech, psychological health screening for students
- Creation of a electronic health record for each student
- Prompt communication to the parent regarding the student’s health, adequate follow up and appropriate referral to our empanelled providers
- Provision of health of health education and awareness
- “Behavioral change communication” regarding health to the school’s student and staff
- Expert health guidance on a toll free number
Ameya Life sends in comprehensively equipped school health team to private school premises to provide quality preventive healthcare service. The program is a subscription model where Ameya charge per student per year with the fee being included in the regular curriculum fee.
