Score Foundation has setup Eyeway as a single stop knowledge resource for life with blindness. Eyeway strives to use the power of knowledge to bring about change in mindsets of the blind, their families, the community, professionals, policy makers and the government. Our mission is to “help realize personal independence, economic self-reliance and social inclusion for all blind and visually impaired people in India.”
Key program components
Eyeway is committed to the following:
Using information through Eyeway.org to inform, inspire and include persons with vision impairments and their families.
Providing knowledge to professionals and organizations working in the field of blindness that will facilitate and nurture the potential of persons with vision impairments.
Being involved in ongoing research to keep in touch with the information and needs of target groups to ensure the relevance and utility of Eyeway's services.
Campaigning for persons with vision impairments and advocating their inclusion in society. The vision of Eyeway is to ensure that people with visual impairment attain full fledged member status in their community, family and society.
