Summary
Kyetume Community Based Health Care Program (KCBHCP) is a registered non governmental organizations started by Christian churches of Kyetume Parish to advence initiatives geared towards health and socioeconomic developments within the Kyetume and Mukono District in Uganda.Program goals
Kyetume CBHC strives to improve the general health standards of under-served rural community within the Mukono District and Uganda at large by influenceing behavior of rural communities using a community-based involvement/participatory approach.
Key program components
The Kyetume team is comprised of doctors, nurses, counselors, program officers and administrative staff. The program operates in an integrated community-based health care model, which aims to provide services targeted at ensuring the holistic welfare of individuals and communities. The program uses a community based involvement/participatory and human rights approach.
